These tools are designed for the countersinking operation to facilitate the installation of materials such as Graphite Epoxy, Carbon, Boron, Fiberglass, etc. to facilitate the installation of common fasteners. The tools are designed to be used in a conventional micro-stop cage unit. This countersink is "Magnicon Bonded" with a diamond mesh size of 60 grit. This grit size has proven to be best suited for the required surface finishes.

Our standard stock items are manufactured with 100 degree angle; other angles and diameters are available.

Along with these countersinks we also manufacture to customer design, PCD and solid carbide countersinks.

Solid Carbide Countersinks

These solid carbide countersinks are manufactured in various geometric styles. Each style has been designed for use in specific type materials.    When a countersinking operation is to be performed in Kevlar, the tool requires a special flute design in order that a clean fuzz-free edge may be generated. The other tool styles available are designed to be used in materials such as aluminum, titanium, carbon graphite, and composites.    The tools are manufactured with a standard thread design to be operated in a standard micro-stop cage unit.    Countersinks are manufactured standard with an integral pilot design.     These solid carbide countersinks have super finished cutting edges and retain their original sharpness longer than conventional countersinks.
